2018 Stronger Communities Programme

August 06, 2018

Anne Stanley, Federal Member for Werriwa, today announced the opening of expressions of interest for round four of the Stronger Communities Programme.

This year, up to a total of $150,000 of funding, will be available in Werriwa for small capital projects which improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy of our local community.

Anne Stanley MP, Federal Member for Werriwa, said “I have been lucky enough to visit a number of 2017 Stronger Communities recipients in recent weeks. These grants have helped deliver an important range of projects across the electorate.”

“This next round of the Stronger Communities Programme will provide further assistance to organisations, ensuring they can continue to perform their vital services to our community. I encourage all applicable organisations to apply.”

If this Programme sounds like something you or your organisation may be interested in, please submit an expression of interest to [email protected] that includes the following information:

  • Name of club/group/organisation
  • What you would like to spend the funding on?
  • How much funding is required? How much can be matched by your organisation? Will this be cash, or in-kind?”

Expressions of Interest close on Thursday 30 August 2018.

Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 are available for each capital project. To be eligible, the projects require matched contributions, in cash or in kind, and nominees must be a legal entity and have an ABN.  Local government and incorporated not-for-profit organisations are eligible to apply.

Further information can be obtained by contacting Anne’s office on 8783 0977.
