LABOR COMMITS TO UPGRADING GREENWAY PARK AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL FACILITIES

A Shorten Labor Government will commit $50,000 towards upgrading Australian football facilities at Greenway Park.

Greenway Park is currently home to the Southwest Tigers Junior Football Club.

The funds will go towards constructing small grandstand structures on the oval at Greenway Park. Remaining funds will be used to renovate the clubhouse.

The project will revitalise the Australian football playing grounds and provide a welcoming environment for players and supporters.

Australian football is a sport rapidly expanding into South West Sydney. Participating in regular sporting commitments provides kids with a strong sense of community and achievement from a young age.

Labor has a comprehensive plan to support local teams and local councils delivering sporting facilities.

This election is a choice between Labor’s plan for the better services and infrastructure needed across the Greater Western Sydney region, or bigger tax loopholes for the top end of town under the Liberals.

After six years of Liberal cuts and chaos, our united Labor team is ready.
