“Last week over 100 Werriwa residents attended an NBN Forum I hosted,” Anne Stanley MP, Member for Werriwa, said.
“It was clear from the turn up on the night and the volume of complaints to my office the past several weeks that the rollout in Werriwa is anything but smooth.”
The complaints range from poor internet speeds to a lack of information and clear instructions for back to base alarms, medical alarms and landline only services.
“The most frequent complaint is about service, whether it be poor experience with both NBN and service providers or constituents not getting what they are paying for,” added Ms Stanley.
“The experience of Werriwa residents is simply not good enough. They deserve much better. Small businesses can’t function, students can’t do school work and pensioners are confused and concerned.
“The NBN rollout must be improved. To not do so relegates my constituents to third rate services.”
Any resident who has issues with their NBN connection is encouraged to call Anne’s office on 9829 7477.
