South West Sydney Welcomes the New Campbelltown Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
The Albanese Labor Government has delivered on its commitment to open 58 Medicare Urgent Care Clinics including 14 in New South Wales.
The Member for Werriwa, Ms Anne Stanley MP, has welcomed the opening of the new Campbelltown Medicare Urgent Care Clinic at 296 Queen Street, Campbelltown.
The new clinic will provide walk in, bulk billed, urgent care for those who need medical attention but can’t wait for a regular appointment with a GP, and don’t require a visit to a hospital. This includes minor fractures, sprains, minor infections, respiratory illnesses, mild burns, severe stomach pains, or urinary tract infections.
The clinic is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 6pm.
Labor’s Medicare Urgent Care Clinics have been providing care to Australians across the country. Recent data shows over 130,000 visits to clinics with 1 in 3 visits from those under 15 years old, helping take pressure off hospital emergency departments.
