About Anne
I've lived my entire life in South Western Sydney.
I grew up in Lurnea, where my parents bought their first home. With my sister, I attended Lurnea Public School and Lurnea High School.
I built a life in the area, raising three boys with my husband Larry. I've volunteered with sporting clubs to secure better services and facilities for our community and to support the youth of the area. I am a life member of Liverpool Catholic Club Junior Rugby League Club and a member of the local referees association.
I have always believed that South Western Sydney deserves a strong voice and will fight hard to ensure that our community gets a fair share.
I believe in:
- Improving access to high speed broadband;
- Ensuring that we have access to decent healthcare, by maintaining Medicare and funding our local hospitals properly;
- Ensuring that there is investment in local schools and TAFEs; and
- Ensuring a decent income by protecting our penalty rates.
That's why I'm committed to putting Werriwa first.
