About Werriwa
In 1901, when Federation was established, Werriwa was one of 65 seats. It takes its name from the Aboriginal name for Lake George. The original seat stretched from South-West Sydney to Lake George.
With population growth, the seat has moved to be around the suburbs of Liverpool and Campbelltown.
The electorate is 172km2 and at the 2019 Federal election, there were 117,739 enrolled voters in Werriwa.
