In less than one year, the Albanese Labor Government has improved the lives of residents of Werriwa, says Ms Anne Stanley MP, Member for Werriwa.

“The Albanese Labor Government is focused on taking pressure off families in Werriwa,” said Ms Stanley MP.

“Since being elected we have cut the cost of prescription medications, secured a pay rise for millions of Australians, delivered fee-free TAFE places, and so much more.”

In addition to these policies initiatives, further measures are set to come into force from the 1st of July, which the Member for Werriwa states will make a real difference to household budgets.

“Local families will benefit significantly from Labor’s Cheaper Child Care reforms. We’re taking the pressure off families, and helping more women get back into the workforce,” says Ms Stanley MP.

“From July, families will also benefit from Labor strengthening Paid Parental Leave.”

“The Albanese Labor Government is delivering the positive change that Australians voted for – and making a real difference here in Werriwa.”
