headspace at Edmondson Park a Step Closer

“I welcome the news from the South Western Sydney PHN (SWSPHN) that Grand Specific Health has been selected to establish the headspace at Edmondson Park” said Member for Werriwa, Ms Anne Stanley MP.

The Albanese Government understands that the support provided by services like headspace is critical to our rapidly growing young population.

“That’s why the commitment was made by the Government in last year’s election campaign.

“Our young people have been affected by the pandemic and other disasters. This headspace will provide our youth with support that is desperately needed,” Ms Stanley continued.

headspace provides mental health support for young people with mild to moderate mental illness. Clients will have access to a youth friendly environment with experienced practitioners and support workers, who can also provide support for related physical health, substance misuse and social and vocational support.
