New facilities for staff and students at Christadelphian Heritage College
Member for Werriwa Anne Stanley today opened the new Secondary Science Block at Christadelphian Heritage College which will improve student educational outcomes.
Ms Stanley said work on the development project was delivered with support of Australian Government funding of $700,000 through the Capital Grants Program.
“A lot of work has gone into this project which has delivered two general learning areas, two science laboratories, a chemical store and preparation area, lift access, amenities and a sports storage area,” Ms Stanley said.
“These new facilities will provide school staff, teachers and students at Christadelphian Heritage College with better, more modern spaces in which to work, teach and learn.”
The new facilities would benefit the students currently at Christadelphian Heritage College, as well as the many students who will follow in future years.
“The teachers, staff and students at Christadelphian Heritage College have built a strong and positive school community and these new facilities will further enhance our local educational opportunities,” Ms Stanley said.
“Our Government strongly believes in providing the best possible resources so that local students can realise their potential and develop the skills they need to go on to further study or to find a job.”
