NEW FACILITIES FOR STAFF AND STUDENTS AT ST ANTHONY OF PADUA CATHOLIC COLLEGE
Member for Werriwa Anne Stanley today opened new buildings for Years 5 to 12 students at St Anthony of Padua Catholic College which will improve student educational outcomes.
Ms Stanley said work on the new facilities was delivered with support of the Albanese Government’s funding of $12,234,979 through the Capital Grants Program.
“A lot of work has gone into this project which has delivered Years 5 and 6 classrooms, Years 7–12 classrooms, specialised learning spaces including technology and applied sciences, music, visual arts and science laboratories, as well as staff workspaces and amenities.” Ms Stanley said.
“These new facilities will provide school staff, teachers and students at St Anthony of Padua Catholic College with better, more modern spaces in which to work, teach and learn.”
“The Albanese Government is committed to providing all schools with appropriate funding so that all students, including those in St Anthony of Padua Catholic College, Austral get the best possible education.”
Ms Stanley said the new facilities would benefit the students currently at St Anthony of Padua Catholic College, as well as the many students to follow in the future years.
“The teachers, staff and students at St Anthony of Padua Catholic College have built a strong and positive school community and these new facilities will further enhance our local educational opportunities.” Ms Stanley said.
“Our Government strongly believes in providing the best possible resources so that local students can realise their potential and develop the skills they need to go on to further study or join the workforce.”
