Scoreboard at Cirillo Reserve Delivered for Werriwa

The Member for Werriwa, Ms Anne Stanley MP, has today welcomed the launch of the scoreboard at Cirillo Reserve for the community of Werriwa.

The scoreboard forms part of the Albanese Government’s election commitment to invest in community and sporting infrastructure through the Investing in Our Communities Program.

“I have been a strong and consistent advocate for this project, and I am glad to see it finally being delivered thanks to the Albanese Government’s investment in our community” said Ms Stanley MP.

The Albanese Government provided $200,000 towards the project under the Werriwa Parks Project which has gone towards installing the new electronic scoreboard as well as upgrades to the lighting and canteen, resurface and upgrades of synthetic cricket wickets and installing new synthetic cricket wickets, at a number of grounds in the area.

“This is yet another demonstration of the Albanese Government delivering not only on our election commitments, but on our broader commitment to develop Australian communities – including by funding projects like this that provide greater sporting opportunities for our locals.”
