No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. In my electorate, I see acts of kindness every day. They change people's lives and change our community for the better. They also shape the future.
Recently, for the 10th year, I recognised Werriwa volunteers. The recipients represent a wide range of groups. We had, from the Friends of India, Chipathra, Regani, Raganath and Myandra. From Ladies Who Like to Lunch, we had Annette Sulfaro. We also had representatives from the Inner Wheel club, Liverpool Olympic Football Club, Prestons Public School and local JPs—some of our JPs have more than 50 years of volunteer service in our community—and some of our schools as well. It's a great honour to recognise some of the people who make such a difference every day in Werriwa.
I thank all the volunteers for what they do for us every day. Their efforts make a lasting difference and make our community so much better.
