Middleton Grange Infrastructure Feedback
My office has recently received complaints relating to traffic in Middleton Grange. I use these roads all the time, so I know it’s a mess.
In 2022, I secured from the Federal Government a $6 million commitment towards the Middleton Drive Extension and the M7 underpass, connecting Middleton Drive in Middleton Grange to Aviation Road in Elizabeth Hills.
But inexcusably nothing has commenced and the $6 million allocated to Liverpool City Council for this project remains unspent. This is not good enough.
Each level of government, Federal, State and local government, must do its bit to address issues in the area.
The total cost of the Middleton Drive project was $12.2 million. The Federal Government kicked-in its share – now it’s time for Liverpool Council to keep its end of deal and get on with fixing the problem.
Please help me to put pressure on Liverpool City Council by providing feedback. Fill in the survey below.
Media release about the infrastructure funding allocated by the Federal Government can be read here.
